Who we’re looking for?

With an ambitious 4-year plan to continue our multi-year double digit growth further, we are on the hunt for a talented Junior Designer, wanting to put their skills to use in the workplace & join our St. Louis based team.

This position would ideally suit you if you are a college or University graduate who has produced graphic design used in multiple environments. Working for Brand Addition you will be required to create designs for a wide range of products, assist in the design studio supporting photography & be an all-round team player.

What we’d like?

We are looking for an individual who is energetic and wants to work in an extremely fast- paced; ever changing environment! Someone to work as a member of our custom orders team, designing creative solutions for promotional product presentations, marketing campaigns, key product merchandising proposals, as well as pre-production templates for our customers.

You will provide conceptual design work and understand our customer’s branding guidelines and how those are relevant to the briefs requested as well as the target audience. Take ownership of projects and manage the creative development of a range of designed products in line with corporate standards and in response to design briefs. This teammate will work directly with our creative teams in the United Kingdom, and of course St. Louis, to collaborate on new business opportunities as well as to support our growing list of Fortune 500 accounts.

What you’ll need:

· You will have a passion for what you do and graphic design principles
· A creative flair
· A 'can do' attitude
· Thorough knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop is essential; knowledge of Adobe In Design may be advantageous
· Working on client projects for both digital and print media – working on a combination of display banners, logos, web design, emails, infographics, and social media
· Delivering projects within tight timeframes that meet brand guidelines
· Excellent communication skills
· The ability to work to deadlines
· Photography experience would be an advantage
· Interest in learning how the business work

Jr Graphic Designer’s Day to day:• Strong capabilities across Adobe Platforms creating vector artwork designs to fit the design needs for client projects, editing photos, finding new design techniques to help our products tell our client’s brand stories.
• Ability to reformat artwork to fit within the guidelines and templates of product print areas (t-shirts, technology products, drinkware, writing instruments, hoodies, etc.)
• Work with Apparel and Hard Goods decorators to ensure accurate project proofs are developed for client approval.
• Collaborate with the team to develop and produce design solutions to communicate client messages with high visual impact through promotional merchandise.
• Work within set deadlines for short term projects while realistically estimating the time required to complete longer term or more complex projects.
• Exceptional creative thinker with the ability to communicate your many ideas.
• Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work.
